Attic Insulation Before & After Photos

Just because you have insulation doesn't mean it's efficient, adequate or in proper working order!  We've come a long way since fiberglass batt!  The R-Value (the capability of your insulation to resist heat flow) of TruSoft™ blown-in cellulose insulation is much higher than fiberglass batt and will take many less inches to achieve the same R-Value.

This customer needed an overhaul!  TCI spray treated the mold, disposed of the contaminated insulation, air sealed the attic floor and re-insulated with cellulose.  The ventilation was corrected to ensure the mold won't return, and with an air sealed attic floor and insulation (R-Value of 60 here), our customer's home will be comfortable in temperature and more energy efficient each month.  

Fiberglass Insulation was blow in thinner in some areas and thicker in others. When the weather became colder outside colder rooms were noticed more in the home.  

Our customer called us into his home for he had rodents living inside his attic. He wanted a full removal of insulation and the attic disinfected along with new Cellulose insulation put back.

Our customer called for they have drafty rooms in their home. After assessing the attic we found it was extremely under insulated and also had a lot of heat being lost in to this attic. We air sealed all the top plates and wire penetrations.  This will not allow heat from the living space to enter the attic. We also added new duel baffles after clearing the soffits of debris. Afterward we blow in 17" of new stabilized TruSoft cellulose insulation to a R60.
