Attic Insulation Before & After Photos

The problem was caused by the attic floor lacking insulation to meet the standards for Michigan's thermal zone. The symptoms of the problem were an 8-10 degree difference from the upstairs to downstairs. 

Customer had a home inspection for a sale on his home. Mold was found and he wanted new insulation and the mold cleaned before final inspection. He was happy to sell his home in a timely manner once we were completed.

Colder rooms in the winter and warmer rooms in the summer can cause higher energy bills. Removed batt insulation added new duel baffles and air sealed before adding all new blow in cellulose insulation.

Our customer had a Home Energy survey with DTE and they recommended for our customer to ad more insulation to his attic. The attic floor only had approximately 3-4 inches of insulation. We were happy to upgrade his attic with a top off of Cellulose to R38 approximately 10 inches. This blanket of insulation will give our customer the energy savings he was looking for.

Our local realtor called us and gave us a referral regarding a home which had a buyers inspection with potential mold. Once our inspection was completed the buyers wanted us to add on Cellulose Insulation to our proposal. We remediated, removed batt insulation, air sealed and added TruSoft Cellulose.
