During the discovery inspection for mold, we found that the attic space was under-insulated. We topped off the insulation with our stabilized blown-in cellulose insulation to fill in. This brought their attic insulation R-Value to Michigan standards.
Our homeowner noticed his upstairs was always warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter. Our company remediated the mold, air sealed and added new cellulose insulation.
Our customer called and wanted insulation added to his attic in his garage. He spent a lot of time in there and wanted to be more comfortable in the cold elements. We added TruSoft Cellulose and SilverGlo polystyrene along with ZypFoam to seal.

Once our inspection was completed we also found a duct for a bath room fan was not sealed correctly and the intake ventilation needed to be corrected. We cleaned the attic with Mold X2 and Mold X2 Botanical products. We also sealed the ducting that was exiting the attic. The soffit vents were cleared of debris and insulation and venting baffles were added.
