Attic Insulation Before & After Photos

Fiberglass Insulation was blow in thinner in some areas and thicker in others. When the weather became colder outside colder rooms were noticed more in the home.  

Our customer called us into his home for he had rodents living inside his attic. He wanted a full removal of insulation and the attic disinfected along with new Cellulose insulation put back.

Our customer called for they have drafty rooms in their home. After assessing the attic we found it was extremely under insulated and also had a lot of heat being lost in to this attic. We air sealed all the top plates and wire penetrations.  This will not allow heat from the living space to enter the attic. We also added new duel baffles after clearing the soffits of debris. Afterward we blow in 17" of new stabilized TruSoft cellulose insulation to a R60. 

Our customer called with issues of Ice Dam and wanted a fix for their home. The insulation levels were inconsistent and not to all the outer edges of the attic. After our inspection the homeowner decided to have us Insulate the attic space. Once all the insulation was removed, we air seal all wire and pipe penetrations and the top and bond plates. Once sealed, blown in Cellulose was done to a Energy Star Rating of R60 approximately 17" that will lower the energy bills as well as improve the overall comfort of the home.

Our customer had ice dam issues and wanted it fixed for good. After our assessment of the attic and our recommendations the customer decided to have the job completed. We removed all insulation, air sealed top and bond plates also pipe and wire penetration and added new Cellulose to a Energy Star Rating of R60. The home is now in good shape with no air loss.
